As well as being a proficient biro artist, Joseph’s artworkoften uses mixed-media layering and different mark-making techniques to celebrate textures and tones.

She is self taught and now lives and works in South Peak, Derbyshire. Joseph is well known for her highly detailed biro pen drawings celebrating ‘everyday objects’, however she also creates artwork in paint, coloured pencil, ink and collage.

Her compositions are often filled with texture, shading and delicate linework.
