  • From 1976 to 1978, he worked at Fernando Higueras in Madrid, Spain, as a chief architect after receiving a Master of Architecture from Waseda University. Having returned to Japan in 1979, he worked for Kikutake Architects until 1981, when he established Naito Architect & Associates.
