    CALN >> Police announced an eagerly-anticipated arrest Tuesday in connection to the hit and run death of a 19-year-old woman in Thorndale earlier this month.

    Gina Marie Bennett, 48, of Coatesville, was arraigned on a felony count of homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence and related charges in connection to the Dec.

    • Gray was struck and killed around 10:55 p.m. while walking in the 3400 block of Lincoln Highway, according to police.

    Bennett allegedly never stopped after striking Gray, but police found her vehicle at an area auto body shop the next day.

    Police identified the owner of the vehicle as a person of interest, but could not immediately verify who was driving the vehicle when Gray was struck.

    Many in the community expressed frustration that an arrest was not immediately made, but law enforcement officials pledged that the case would remain a top priority until charges were filed.

    On Tuesday, police officials thanke
